A bit of Beth Ditto

I was asked to attend the opening night of 'Popped' at the Whitworth Gallery, Manchester. The idea behind the show was to create an archive of popular culture based works, viewed through teenage eyes. For more information check out the website : http://www.wearepopped.com/

I was requested to demonstrate what I do as a model maker for the visitors while the opening event was taking place. As my pop icon I chose to produce a model of Beth Ditto from the band 'The Gossip'. I was able to make the clay structure and then took the rest away to finish for display later that week.
